Classroom Expectations

In my classroom I believe that each child should have the right to learn and work in a safe and friendly environment. Any student violating another student's right to this environment will earn the appropriate consequence.  We have a ticket system in our classroom. Students may earn tickets for various reasons. They may also lose tickets if they are not following directions or speaking unkindly. Students may trade in tickets for various awards (a piece of candy, free homework pass, sit at the teacher's desk for the day).
