Attention ALL Students! The end of the school year looms! As a citizen of the ALHS community, it is your responsibility to make sure you are not in any debt before the end of the year. Make sure your accounts are up to date. School fees due letters have been sent home. Check with cafeteria, library, athletics, choral and band. All textbooks must be returned at final exam. Thanks for your diligence in keeping our school running smoothly!

The Avon Lake Symphonic Band is one of four bands from throughout the USA selected to perform at the 4th Annual Percy Grainger Wind Band Festival in Chicago’s prestigious Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center. The students will have an opportunity to rehearse and perform in this famous hall, home of the Chicago Symphony, and participate in a clinic with Colonel Arnard Gabriel, Conductor of the United States Air Force Band (retired). full story
