DRAFT VERSIONS OF PROPOSED SCHOOL CALENDARS

Proposed draft versions of school calendars for the 2012-2013, 2013-2014, and 2014-2015 school years are currently being reviewed for adoption by the Avon Lake Board of Education.  Please click on the school year of interest to view two proposed draft calendars for each school year.  Please note that the official calendars have not been adopted by the Board of Education and are under consideration at this time.   If you have any questions or comments, please complete the Contact Request form by clicking here. additional information

Kindergarten Round Up!

Kindergarten registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be held at our four elementary schools this spring.  Each child who is five years of age on or before August 1 is eligible to enroll in kindergarten.  full story

Race to Nowhere

 The Avon Lake PTA Council is sponsoring a community screening of the acclaimed documentary film, “Race to Nowhere,” on Monday evening, February 20th, at 6:30 in the Performing Arts Center.  This powerfully thought-provoking film is intended to help stimulate dialogue among all stakeholders around the challenging issues facing parents and educators today.  There will be a panel available after the screening to answer questions and/or initiate the dialogue.  For more information on the film, visit the film’s website at http://www.racetonowhere.com/.

LEAPS Preschool Program Accepting Applications for Role Models for 2012-2013 School Year
